Department of Theoretical Physics, IFIN-HH
The Geometry and Physics Group is a research group in the Department of Theoretical Physics of
the Horia Hulubei Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering located in Bucharest-Magurele,
Romania.
The group currently consists of five senior members:

- Jakub Filipek (associate member from the Dept. of Physics of U. Warsaw and IMPAN): M.S. in Mathematics (thesis) & M.S. in Mathematical Physics (thesis).
The group works closely with the Simion Stoilow Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy and participates in a number of national, regional and European initiatives and actions:

The group occasionally opens Summer Internship Positions. Its senior members can act as MS or PhD degree supervisors or co-supervisors and can recommend students who they supervise for employment as Research Assistants within the Department of Theoretical Physics of IFIN-HH. Students employed as interns or Research Assistants have access to the facilities of the National Library of Physics, which is located close to DTP.
As a general rule, our group does not supervise MS or PhD level students from the University of Bucharest who did not previously acquire some familiarity with our subjects of interest and with the mathematics level expected from them by gaining some experience through an internship.
